Works may be carried out outside of the cyclical pruning cycle for the following reasons:

The tree is found to be in an unreasonable condition in the context of the neighbouring properties by the Tree Officer
The tree was missed from the cyclical maintenance programme.

A tree emergency is when there is an imminent threat to life or property from a tree falling, fallen trees and fallen branches.
